Hi, I’m Seleste Lazo

Hey there! I'm Seleste Lazo, a licensed professional counselor in Texas dedicated to helping women navigate burnout, caregiving stress, life transitions, and the complex balance between personal goals, cultural expectations, and family responsibilities. I have a special passion for supporting high achieving women, particularly daughters of immigrants, who often find themselves carrying the weight of being the "strong one" while balancing family expectations, cultural values, and their own personal goals. My approach is warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive while integrating evidence-based practices such as CBT, ACT, and mindfulness to help clients create meaningful and lasting change. I strive to provide a therapeutic and compassionate space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to reconnect with themselves while balancing lives aligned with their values. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my family and dog, discovering new coffee shops, traveling with my husband, and hitting the gym as I continue to find moments of connection, growth, and balance in my own life. If you have felt overwhelmed by the cultural pressure to do it all, I invite you to reach out and take the first step toward feeling more grounded, connected, and aligned with the life you want to create.

Therapy with me is a space where you can feel truly seen, understood, and supported without having to minimize your experiences or carry everything alone.

You don’t have to choose between honoring where you come from and becoming who you’re meant to be.
